How F3 works
Focused development that team
practice can't always provide
Most team practices are built to prepare a team for its next game. F3 Flag gives female athletes the focused, individual development that team environments often can't — with more meaningful reps, coaching targeted to what each athlete needs most, and a clear path to becoming a more confident, complete player.
A small-group development model
F3 is an ongoing, application-based program built around small groups. Small groups let coaches identify specific needs, correct details, create purposeful repetitions, and hold athletes accountable for applying what they learn — the kind of individual attention a full team practice rarely allows.
Position-specific and shared instruction
Athletes receive both shared development principles and position-specific instruction. The founding coaching team spans defensive back play, wide receiver development, quarterback decision-making, speed and movement, ball skills, flag pulling, route concepts, and leadership — so each athlete is coached on the details that matter most for her position, then challenged to understand how the game connects.
What the program covers
- Technique & fundamentals — footwork, leverage, body positioning, ball skills, and the mechanics of each skill position.
- Game understanding — route concepts, coverage recognition, decision-making, and reading the field.
- Athleticism — speed, movement efficiency, change of direction, and competitive conditioning.
- Competitive habits — preparation, accountability, and the professional routines that separate committed athletes.
Who it's built for
F3 is designed for committed female athletes (ages 13–18) who want more focused development than team practice provides, respond well to direct coaching, are willing to be challenged, and can attend consistently. Current talent level is not the primary selection factor — commitment, coachability, and fit matter more.
